Notes from Bob
Modifications:
The body is a A1 fiberglass painted hugger orange with rightside door and rear (swing) door. It's sitting on a custom frame with a solidstraight axel up front and a 3:31 Jag rear. There are disc brakes on all four wheels. The wheels are all wire with 120-90x16 up front and 33x12.50 radials in the rear.
The engine is a Chevy 454 which has been worked and is putting out about600 HP. It has 10:1 pistons a 292 Comp Cam and two 600CFM Holley carbs reworked with Barry Grant parts. The ignition is all MSD.
The interior is done in cranberry and blue velour. Gauges are all AutoMeter Pro-Comp. there is a radio and also a TV mounted in the console so it can been seen out the rear door at cruise-ins.
History
The car was built in one of the Great Lake's states. From there it has worked its way through to Missouri where I finally got it several years ago. Since then I've been pulling it apart every winter and making up grades each year.
Awards
I have been to many local shows in Alabama, Tennesse and Missouri and many awards through the years. It has been featured on TV in the Alabama and Geogia area. The car has twice been in the news paper in Alabama. The car's and my biggest honor was the four page spread in the American StreetRydes Mag. in April of 2007.
